130 Days To Go!

Where is your wedding?

Our wedding is at Deer Valley Ranch in Nathrop, Colorado.

Are you really having a destination wedding?

Yes! The mountains are our home, and a one-night party isn't our style. We want our closest friends and family to enjoy the mountains of Colorado that we love so much, together for an entire weekend!

Where should I stay?

Update: March 17, 2026: All accommodations (except camping) at Deer Valley Ranch are fully booked. Please see alternate lodging options at the bottom of the Travel & Lodging tab. We are encouraging all guests to stay right on site at the venue. Click on the Travel tab for more information. You will need to contact Deer Valley Ranch directly to book your stay. We respectfully ask that if you book a cabin, you ensure that all rooms and as many beds are filled as possible. The ranch is going to fill up quickly, and we need to be efficient with booking lodging!

When should I arrive? How long should I stay?

You should plan on staying at Deer Valley Ranch (or neighboring Buena Vista or Salida, CO) from Friday, October 9th through Sunday, October 11th (2 nights). Check in is after 4 PM on Friday, and check out is 10 AM on Sunday. If you would like to spend more time in the area, feel free to add additional nights to your stay!

What food options are available? What meals am I responsible for?

Meals will be provided for dinner Friday (welcome party), dinner Saturday (wedding reception), and Sunday brunch. You are responsible for all other meals. Cabins offer full-size kitchens, so we are encouraging you to pick up groceries on your way into town to avoid needing to leave the venue. The nearest food options are Mary Murphy Steakhouse (breakfast, lunch, & dinner) and a convenience store both located at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs (1 mile away). The nearest grocery store is City Market in Buena Vista, 17 minutes away. The closest restaurants are located in Buena Vista and Salida (17 min & 28 min away).

Can I camp?

Yes! Camping is offered right on site at Deer Valley Ranch. They allow campers, trucks, and tent camping right on site. Camping costs $50 for the entire weekend. There are no electricity or water hookups available. Bathrooms & showers are available at the pool area. If you plan on camping, please reach out to Robby or Mauri to tell them the type and size of your camper, truck/van, or if you will be tenting it. If you have a larger camper, you will need to call the ranch to let them know your arrival time before you travel. Staff will meet you at the entrance and direct you to a spot so you don't get stuck!

Can I carpool?

Yes! Carpooling is encouraged. If you are interesting in carpooling, please reach out to Robby at robbyt1994@gmail.com to see if you can be linked up with other people who are driving to the venue or also need rides from the same location.

Help! It's the day of the wedding and I have an urgent question and don't know who to contact!

If you need help on any day except our wedding day, please reach out to Robby and Mauri directly. If it is Saturday, October 10th, please reach out to Bailey Richards at 720-318-2658. If your question concerns the venue or lodging, please reach out to Deer Valley Ranch (info in Travel tab).

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, but please refer to your invitation to make sure we planned on having your kids attend.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely! We love dogs and the venue is dog friendly. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the lodge (individual rooms & reception location). If you are bringing your dog, you must reserve a pet-friendly cabin or camp.

Can I bring an off-road vehicle to get around the area?

Yes, the ranch allows the use of personal off-road vehicles (mountain bikes, e-bikes, dirt bikes, ATVs, Side by Sides, golf carts) to get around the property. The ranch connects to a public highway where these vehicles are not permitted. And for the love of god, don't treat the ranch as a racetrack. Only bring vehicles if you need them to get around.

I'm from sea level, should I be worried about the altitude?

Nathrop, Colorado is located at around 7,700 feet above sea level. If you are not used to high elevation or have had issues with altitude sickness in the past, we recommend coming to Colorado a few days in advance to give your body time to adjust. Remember to drink a ton of water and cut back on the alcohol consumption. It takes less booze to feel the effects at elevation, so keep that in mind!
